3D Fiber Lash System...a must have

Looking to enhance and lengthen your lashes without the wear and tear of false lashes or the after math of lash extensions? I found the most amazing simple three-step process which is not aggressive or compromising of your own lashes. I started using the Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lash system by Younique which combines Transplanting Gel and Natural Fibers to help create the appearance of incredible thickness and volume to your existing lashes.

It’s so easy and so simple using a mascara wand with transplanting gel followed by the fiber wand, then sealing again with the gel. It literally takes 20 seconds per eye. The 3D Fiber Lashes are water resistant but easily wash off with warm water and facial cleanser at the end of the day.  My own lashes doubled in length and thickness up on one application. You can add as many applications as you feel necessary to create your final result.   I purchase mine for $35 through the following website: https://www.youniqueproducts.com/CarolineBuzzanga/products/view/US-1017-00#.VBr4RRaPY6p

I promise you will be 150% satisfied and hooked like I am.

Sonya Dakar Flash Facial

I’m absolutely obsessed with skincare products and made it my goal to try out as many products and brands to find and reveal my favourites. It’s hard to find a skincare system that actually works so anything I blog about actually works and gives amazing results. We don’t just blog about any product on C&C....we only blog about the products we love.

A few weeks ago I got a FabFitFun VIP box sent to me which is a box filled with over 10 products in beauty, health, and fitness. I became obsessed with one of the items in the box that is now part of my beauty regime. The SonyaDakar Flash Facial amazed me with its instant gratifying results. The skincare product was developed by Gwyneth Paltrow’s famed facialist. In just 60 seconds the facial reveals softer, plumper, and younger looking skin.  It’s super safe and effective as it sloughs away the dead skin and impurities leaving you with instant results. The facial is packed with antioxidants, hyaluronic and lactic acids which keeps you smooth and radiant and is great on all skin types. No wonder Gwyneth doesn’t age......this is a must have product!

Directions: Use daily for best results applying a thin layer onto clean, dry skin and allow drying for 1 minute. Gently rub off in a circular motion. Rinse your face with lukewarm water and apply your moisturizer.

Boots & Hearts 2014 Recap

Us C&C Girls had an amazing time again this year for the 2014 Boots and Hearts Country Music Festival. The 3 day festival took place at Mosport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario for the Canadian long weekend July 31 to Aug3. The sold out venue packed country music lovers from all across Canada and the USA all there to see headliners Toby Keith, Blake Shelton, and Luke Bryan.

We arrived Friday, and just missed the rain storm, but that didn’t stop headliner Toby Keith from rocking the venue. Fans stood in puddles of mud for a true country experience to see the legendary Toby Keith perform some of his greatest hits such as Should’ve been a Cowboy, How do you Like me Now, to his current hit Red Solo Cup. Nobody seemed to mind a little rain. The place was packed with screaming fans all singing along.

On Saturday we made sure to arrive early to catch some of the smaller country artists and the special showcases at the Coors Original Tent.  We even made it across the park to watch the Miss Boots & Hearts contest as 20 contestants competed for the chance at being crowned Miss Boots & Hearts 2014. The food vendors were amazing again this year and a larger liquor and beer selection were featured. Our favourite beer tent was at the Coors Original bar where they had a dance floor and hay bales to give the real country saloon feel.  On Saturday night Lee Brice took the stage. He’s an amazing up and coming headlining artist. We loved hearing his songs “hard to love” and “A woman like you” live but the crowd went nuts when he joined Luke Bryan on stage for a few songs. I had never seen Luke Bryan perform live before but I am now hooked. He is so much fun to watch live as he really brings energy to the stage with his boyband like dance moves, catchy songs and interactions with the audience. I think Luke Bryan actually shook it for us.

On Sunday we were able to catch the Gospel Brunch along with some of the artist meet and greet lines for upcoming Canadian talent. There’s really so much to do throughout the three day festival. The campers seemed to have an amazing time as after the nightly shows the party would continue on to the  Country Dance After Party. Sunday had another outstanding lineup. Country cutie Hunter Hayes took the stage and wowed us with his performance. Hayes may only be 22 but he can play over 30 different instruments and wrote every song on his album at the age of 19. After Hayes the two finalists in the Emerging Artist Showcase presented by Sirius XM battled live on the main stage to be this years’ title winner.  A big congrats to Trinity Bradshaw this year’s winner!

Finally the moment I had been waiting for.... Blake Shelton took the stage. He was my highlight of the entire weekend. After stealing my heart on The Voice, seeing him live was an incredible experience. He played a bunch of his greatest and latest hits including “Boys Round Here “ , “Some Beach” and even brought us back to his first album singing one of my all time favs “Austin”.

The weekend seemed to pass so fast—time flies when you’re having fun. We can hardly wait to hear when next year’s lineup is announced. Keep checking back for updates and when tickets will become available. Best to purchase early as tickets sell out fast!  Boots & Hearts is definitely the best country music festival in Canada.

Hydrafacials at Beauty Bar Laser Clinic

I’ve been hearing lots of hype on Hydrafacials lately so I decided it was something I had to try. They are absolutely AMAZING and highly addicting. I spent half an hour at Beauty Bar and Laser Clinic in Toronto (they have four locations) where I had my first experience.

The HydraFacial is a non-invasive skin resurfacing and skin rejuvenation treatment--much like a facial but with the use of a machine. It helps to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, treat acne, improve hyper pigmentation, remove congested pores and uneven skin tone with no surgery, no injections, no discomfort and no downtime.

I was in and out within a half an hour and on my way to enjoy the rest of my day. Having 1 Hydrafacial is the equivalent of a series of 5 facials. It cleanses, exfoliates, hydrates and extracts leaving the skin glowing and smooth.

I did a Hydrafacial 3 days before my wedding and it left me with a fantastic glow and even skin tone. I looked so refreshed like I had slept for days. There are no post breakouts or skin irritations after the procedure either. I was just mildly red upon completion but that went away within minutes after leaving the clinic. It’s definitely something I highly recommend and will be doing over and over again myself.
